What we use
We use cookies, local storage, and session storage. Some are required for signing in and keeping your preferences. Analytics identifiers are created only if you accept analytics.
Categories
- Strictly necessary: authentication session, theme preference, and product state required for DearlyBook to function.
- Preferences: cookie consent choice and theme selection.
- Analytics (optional): anonymous session id and event telemetry used to understand traffic, conversion, and product usage.
Analytics details
When analytics is enabled, we may record page paths, referrers, UTM parameters, approximate device type, country (when available from the edge network), and product events such as create clicks or story submissions. Analytics is never required to use DearlyBook.
Your choices
On first visit you can accept or reject analytics. You can reopen preferences any time via the Cookie preferences link in the footer. Rejecting analytics stops further event collection. See also our Privacy Policy.
